1 ham bone
1 ½ cups of diced ham
1 large onion, diced
2 ribs of celery, sliced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 toe garlic, minced
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 (14 oz) can Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 (14 oz) can tomato sauce
8 cups beef broth
2 Tablespoons Italian seasoning blend
1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon sugar
2 bay leaves
1 ½ cups pasta (ditlani is the best to use)
Put all ingredients except pasta in crock pot and cook on low
for 6-8 hours. Add pasta 25-35 minutes
before serving. Serve with crusty bread
and cheese!
