2 pounds fresh green beans, cleaned and ends snipped.
4 slices of bacon
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup of sugar
Par boil the beans in pot ; don't over cook, leave them a bit crisp and then drain. Fry the bacon, drain
the bacon but leave some of the drippings in the skillet. Add beans in. Mix the vinegar and sugar in a small bowl and add to the beans. Toss in skillet for a few minutes and then crumble in the bacon and cook on low for a few more minutes.
